Forged Turnbuckle

The Forged Turnbuckle uses two opposing threaded shanks and a rotatable open centre to change the distance between rope attachment points. Turning the body draws the end members inward or pushes them outward, allowing slack to be removed from steel wire rope and other rope assemblies. Closed eyes create OO form, open hooks create CC form, and one eye with one hook creates CO form. The available size range is M4-M30. Material choices include 304 stainless steel and a hot-dip galvanized option, with natural stainless steel or hot-dip galvanizing as the surface selection. Finished parts are described as smooth, burr-free, resistant to rust, and suitable for long service.

Forging and thread preparation are supported by eight hot-forging machines and ten thread-rolling machines. The wider equipment list also includes twenty punching machines, imported laser units, imported CNC machines, injection-moulding machines, and cold-bending equipment. These assets give the plant a defined route for forming, machining, and threading parts before the terminal arrangement and surface option are completed.
