Product Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

 

1. Pre-treatment Process

After the steel parts enter the production line, they undergo alkaline degreasing, acid pickling (hydrochloric acid concentration controlled at 15–20%), cleaning and neutralization, and fluxing treatment. This process removes surface oil and oxide layers, ensuring the steel surface remains in a highly reactive state.

 

2. Hot-Dip Galvanizing Process

The workpieces are immersed in a zinc bath with a temperature controlled at 450–460℃. The immersion time is adjusted according to the plate thickness, generally 4–8 minutes. After plating, the zinc layer thickness is controlled by centrifugal spinning, ensuring the zinc layer is no less than 85μm, and guaranteeing complete coverage of edges and holes.

 

3. Post-treatment and Quality Inspection

After galvanizing, cooling and passivation treatments are performed. The zinc layer thickness and uniformity are then inspected, and samples are randomly selected for neutral salt spray testing to ensure that the overall corrosion resistance meets ISO 1461 requirements.
